I remember when I was still in Ilocos Norte National High
School, Special Program in the Arts, when the clock strikes at three, we would
ran into the corridors, stairs up to our designated rooms for our major.
I belonged
to the Creative Writing Major class. We had to right many literary pieces, from
different kinds of poems to extraordinary novels. We have also read tons of
books, from fiction to non-fiction. We also had watched a lot of movies from
classic to new generation. We also wrote our scripts and act them out in front
of our teacher, which made all of us loathe it for some stage fright.
Although,
stage frights transcended out of nowhere when we were enrolled to our Theatre
arts minor. We also had our 5-6pm-choir rehearsal and we had the chance to
perform at the Cultural Center of the Philippines during the 1st
ever-international choir competition last 2010. Oh how I miss the old days.
Anyways,
during my creative writing days way back in high school, we always write
literary pieces in English and in Filipino. But when we reached our senior
year, we were divided. I had to write my pieces in Filipino because I do good
things in that matter.
And, here
is a photo of my book. To bad all of my copies are gone.
